Very pleased with Dr Carrasco. His bedside manner impressed my wife and daughter who brought me for surgery. I very much liked his staff. The Anesthesiologist explained the process and did a fine job.

Terrific experience with Dr Carrasco. I had a large ventral hernia in need of repair, and met with Dr Carrasco in his office. He explained in sufficient detail the procedure for robotic surgery, what to expect in recovery, and answered all my questions patiently. Everything went just as he had described. I checked into the hospital at 10:15 AM and was home by 3:00 PM. He prescribed opioids for pain, but I never took a single one of them, and got by fine on advil and tylenol. I was up at 5:00 AM the next day and walked 4-miles, just a bit slower than normal pace. I literally never experienced any pain with this robotic surgery. Some of that may be attributable to Dr Carrasco's use of Exparel, a non-opioid injection after surgery that relieves pain. Not all Physicians use this, and I am so glad Dr. Carrasco does. I am happy to give Dr Carrasco my highest favorable recommendation based on a terrific experience.

If you want the best surgeon you need Dr. Carrasco! I have had numerous surgeries over the years, and no one compares to Dr Carrasco. He listens and cares about you. It's not like you're just another surgery to perform. He went in to repair a hernia and noticed I had 2 hernias and corrected them both and I feel fantastic! Hands down best Dr/Surgeon/person, you would ever want to take care of you!

My Primary Care Physician recommended Dr. Carrasco for a surgery that I was exploring. Dr. Carrasco explained every step of the surgery and listened to my concerns and desires. On the day of the surgery, he visited with me and my wife and answered all of our questions and then outlined the recovery process. To a letter, his instructions and my expectations were met. Even at discharge, two weeks later, he explained and emphasized my self-care. Anytime I’m facing surgery, I’ll ask if it’s in Dr. Carrasco’s wheelhouse and will use his service whenever possible. Dr. Carrasco was Awesome!!!! He is very professional and positive. We walked through the process of the surgery and I knew what to expect post op as well. Even on my follow up visits, he asked if I had any questions or concerns.
His staff is also very professional and went above and beyond. I hope I don't need a surgeon in the future but rest assured Dr. Carrasco will be the one I call.
