First time I went to get checked up for a post op issue, I was told that they couldn’t see me and that I needed go to an urgent care. I was seen at the urgent care, and they said, if the problem persists, to follow up with my urologist. Upon arriving to my scheduled visit, they told me that their computers were down and they couldn’t see me. The staff were unhelpful, unfriendly, and apathetic. When I asked if I could at least speak to him to get some answers, they told me they couldn’t.

Dr. Hassell has always been there for me!
I’ve been going to see him with some serious health issues!! He has always had a Plan B, if I needed another option! I’ve never had to wait more than 5 to 8 mins to see him. Dr Hassell has always been courteous and respectful to me explaining in detail how a certain surgery would work for me. Explaining the process completely!
I saw where some patients had problems with his nurse. She can act a bit bossy at times, but I’ve found that she has a tender side too !
Just by being kind to her will turn her into a sympathetic lady. She is a large lady, & has probably been through some difficult times!

Frustrating experience. The Doctors web site says he treats lichen sclerosis but he doesn’t. I told them what I was coming in for but no one told me. I filled out their forms and anxiously awaited my appointment. After a 30 minute wait I was shown back to an exam room and told they don’t treat my condition. What a waste of time and energy! Fix your website, Dr Hassell.

Dr. Hassell has been such a great doctor/surgeon. He has truly helped me manage my interstitial cystitis as much as possible, and has always given me recommendations on how to best manage it, while also listening to me and acknowledging my worries or concerns.

If I could give a negative 10 stars on this physician and his staff, I would do so. I am even more convinced after reading the numerous negative reviews that are just like mine. I went into the ER with severe pain from kidney stones and was assigned Dr. Hassell. I saw him in person while in the hospital for a total of 3-4 minutes. He told me I could not have the required surgery at this hospital because they did not have the equipment. I would need to transfer to another hospital where he would have a radiologist place a nephrostomy tube and discharge me to continue with oral antibiotics for one week. He would begin the process now to schedule surgery to remove the stone and tube the first week of May. I was discharged with the tube and oral antibiotics. I called his office the following week to check on surgery schedule. I called again two days later because I had no return call. After one full week with still no return call, and my infection returning, I called the appointment line to see if I could actually reach someone to find out my next steps. The scheduler finally connected me to Hassell's nurse. I told him I had left multiple messages over the last two weeks, with no return call. He said Dr. Hassell was there but was on the phone. I asked to wait. I waited on hold for 20 minutes until the nurse returned to tell me Hassell was still on the phone and he would call me back. I reminded the nurse I had left numerous messages that were never returned and wanted to make sure he had my correct number. He gave me the number he had, which was correct. No surprise at this point, it has been another full week and no return call from Hassell. I was so appalled at the lack of care, professionalism and basic courtesy, that I called another doctor. I immediately received a return call, was able to meet with this doctor and he had me scheduled for surgery just 5 days later. I have still not received a return call from Hassell.

Hopefully other patients will read these reviews before they trust this man to be attentive to their care.

Dr Hassell is been taking care of my mom for many years he is great doctor but his staff is not his nurse is very rude and some of the front desk too- we had kind of an urgent appointment this morning I arrived 5 min late but the receptionist took more than 10 min to check out a person in front of me- and so she told me you are late let me check if you can be seeing - I was like I been here for over 10 min waiting on you to check me in- she came back and told me that I will need to reschedule because Dr Hassell has a surgery (on a Friday afternoon?)
Also, my mother has been suffering from recurring UTI and because those affect her alzhimer and make it progress more and because it is urgent to take care of the infecciones asap I was bringing urine samples per doctor’s instructions during the office lab drop off hours to see if my mom has UTI and his rude nurse told me that they do not accept anymore walk in labs- well for my surprise today when I walk in into the office they still have their walk in labs sign in there with their schedule - very frustrating!! I mean if my mom is no longer welcome to his office they can let me know where to go, I feel like I am begging for some medical service/advice ?

Most pathetic service you would ever receive from a Dr. This includes Dr and his assistant. It will take you Days(not hours) to get hold of Dr. assistant to schedule an appointment, they will never receive your call and won't even return call to your voice message. And Dr. Scott will act on your complain as you are the only one experiencing it, I see there are numerous people who have complained about it.

From treatment perspective, we didn't choose Dr. Hassell but he treated my wife during an ER visit and placed a stent in her kidney. Since then there have been 3 procedures under anesthesia and kidney stones are still there, Dr.Hassell prolong the procedure and make you visit hospital multiple times as that's how he makes money. We have kidney stone problems in our family and I can confidently say this is the worst experience anyone will go through. It's almost a month now 3 procedures and my wife is in constant discomfort due to stent in her kidney and it's been 5 days I am trying to get hold of Dr to either remove stone or the stent.

If you are a new patient, I'll recommend finding a better Dr.
